How It Works

Hi there! My name is Misty and I am an avid blogger. I created this page to let you know how I handle product reviews, giveaways, and questions. There is a million and one blogs out there, and every one handles their own differently. Below are my goals and information for you.

This is my winners and fan blog that just got set up.  Excuse the mess. 

**First there is NO fees involved! I do NOT charge for my reviews!**

How Do Reviews Work?

First I would need a product. It can be your choice or mine. Then you would send me the product where I would review it. Once I complete my review I then post about it, you, your store (company), and a honest report. It will contain pictures, feature your store (company), you, and your products. I can do videos if you desire. My Youtube channel can always need an update.

A Free Product?

Yes I need something I can touch, feel, smell, take pictures with. I can't possibly review something that I don't have in real life. Unless it is printables, then that will be disclosed. It is sort of like the barter system they had back in the day. I promote and review your products, in return I keep the reviewed item. I do understand how much goes into your items. Time, money, and love. I do the same for my blog. This is my baby. I spend numerous hours a day with my blog, doing reviews, and others things. If you are a follower, you know I change my blog around constantly to make it beautiful and eye catching.

What Is A Giveaway

Half of the time most of the people I work with will want a review and giveaway. A giveaway is something you would offer to my readers for doing certain things. Liking your facebook, favoriting your shop or item, follow on twitter, follow elsewhere, sign up for your email. Whatever you need a boost on. Also they will have to leave a comment on something. Like their favorite product. It gives you feedback on what most people would want and strive to do more in that area. I use Giveaway Tools as a giveaway provider. I set all the links up and it will generate a winner at the closing of the contest. Then I will contact the winner and forward your email to them. 

I highly promote my giveaways. I can't tell you how many times I wait up until 12 am to get my contest listing in first on the Link Ups I use. If there is somewhere I can submit my contests, I do it. I belong to a lot of groups on Facebook geared just for giveaways. Trust me you get exposure to the max.

Can You Use The Item That I Sent As The Prize

It depends on the item. I can't send already used products as a prize in a contest. Stuff like soap, candles, beauty products, are a big no no. If it is something else we can see if it will work out. I will be responsible for shipping costs if we go that route. Just ask me and I can answer that question. 

Printable Items

I love printable items! However I love to share them also.  I will still review your business, but I rather my readers get the chance to have these awesome items. So it is a win - win. You get loads of traffic, a boost, and lots of feedback on the items in your store.  I still get to put your store/products out there, which is my passion.  I do understand they will be no customization and that is fine.  I am just happy that you are willing to share your fabulous works with us!

What Do I Get

Traffic and more traffic to your site. I have loads of media outlets with large numbers,  that is not even counting my followers on GFC (2 different blogs), Bloglovin, Tumbler, and email.  I also promote other high value contests, so my traffic is high.  You get your store showcased and most of all your products for sell.

Why Do You Review

Good question. When I started blogging it was after my heart attack. I was depressed and needed an outlet. At first it was slow going as I was a newbie. Then it got kind of boring, because who wants to read about the same old thing all the time. I signed up with Tomoson to try it out. I found my little niche in reviewing from there. I loved it and I found I was good at it! From there it grew. I branched out to some other sites and I have been reviewing every since. I love finding new things and products that no one knows about. I find those hidden jewels and bring them to my readers so they can have the chance to get them also. 

What Is The Strangest Thing You Have Reviewed?

Somewhere in my archive on my main blog is a post called, "When The Chickens Come Home To Roost." I was contacted to do a review on a DIY chicken coop. I am dead serious. He took my, "I review it all", as a personal challenge I guess.  So yes we spent one Sunday putting this thing together. It is now home to 2 hens out at my friends house in Middleburg.

What Is, " I Disclose"?

By law I am required to let my readers know if I got the product free. Also if I got it in exchange for a review. I do disclose.

In closing let me say I love working with people. I do realize all the hard work and time you put into your items.  I do the same thing just in a different way. I love to give back and help the little people out. Mass market stuff is okay, but things that are made from the heart are priceless and unique. It is my goal to get you more traffic and business.
